About Ayurveda Ayurveda is the traditional holistic healing system of India and means
‘ The Science of Life.’ “ Ayu” meaning life and “ Veda” meaning science. It was first recorded in the Vedas, the
world’s oldest known record of literature, over 3,500 years ago. It has been
passed down over thousands of years, first as an oral and then as a written
tradition.
It combines herbs, diet, yoga, massage, Kriya cleanses, meditation and breathing. The aim of the techniques is to detox the body and establish harmony in body, mind and soul.
